Directions from Packaging
How to get the best results from Planet Ultra Powdered Laundry Detergent - 1) Sort your washable clothing, separating dark colors from light colors and whites, and separating heavily soiled items from lightly soiled items to avoid color and soil transfer. Pre-treat any large or dark stains just prior to laundering. 2) Measure and add detergent to washer tub. Do not use washer's dispensing cups. Measure to 3oz. fill line for a regular / large load. For HE washers, use half this amount (1.5 oz). Use more detergent for extra large or heavily soiled loads. 3) Select appropriate color and temperature settings. Wash dark colors in cold or cool water, and wash light colors and whites in cool or warm water. Select cold water for the rinse cycle. 4) Add laundry to washer, distributing clothes evenly. For most effective washing, do not overload the washer, and use the right amount of detergent for your specific wash conditions. Always refer to garment care labels for laundering instructions.
